What we collect, why, and who we share it with

Last updated: 21 September 2026 · version 1.0

The short version

Tafsela alters and repairs clothes: we collect the piece from your door, alter it, and bring it back. To do that we need a few specific things — your phone number, your address and your measurements — and we collect nothing we do not need.

What we collect

DataWhy
Phone numberTo create your account and send the verification code
Name and genderTo address you, and to decide whether a male or female measurement specialist visits
Address and locationSo the driver can find you for pickup and delivery
Body measurementsSo the garment is altered to fit you
Photos and voice notesWhat you attach to an order so the tailor understands it
Order and payment recordsTo track your order, and for invoicing and tax records
Device notification tokenTo send you order updates
Usage dataTo find and fix what is hard to use
Advertising identifierTo measure how our ads perform. On iPhone it is used only if you allow tracking when the system asks

We never collect your bank card details. At payment you are handed to the payment provider's page, and the card stays with them.

Who we share it with

As little as possible, and only with:

How to stop this. On iPhone: when the system asks "Allow the app to track you?", choose Ask App Not to Track — or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID. Either way, you can email privacy@tafselaapp.com and we will exclude your account from all marketing events.

Your rights

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) you have the right to:

Deletion and retention

When you delete your account we immediately delete your profile, your measurements, your addresses, and the photos and voice notes you uploaded.

Order and invoice records are kept, because Saudi accounting and tax rules require it. Those records are not used for marketing and are not attached to an active account afterwards.

Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent may store a child's measurements within their own account.

Changes to this policy

If something material changes — such as a new company we share data with — we will update this page and ask for your consent again inside the app before it applies to you.
