The short version
Tafsela alters and repairs clothes: we collect the piece from your door, alter it, and bring it back. To do that we need a few specific things — your phone number, your address and your measurements — and we collect nothing we do not need.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- Your card details never reach us; the payment provider handles them directly.
- We do advertise, and this page says exactly what is sent and to whom.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Phone number | To create your account and send the verification code |
| Name and gender | To address you, and to decide whether a male or female measurement specialist visits |
| Address and location | So the driver can find you for pickup and delivery |
| Body measurements | So the garment is altered to fit you |
| Photos and voice notes | What you attach to an order so the tailor understands it |
| Order and payment records | To track your order, and for invoicing and tax records |
| Device notification token | To send you order updates |
| Usage data | To find and fix what is hard to use |
| Advertising identifier | To measure how our ads perform. On iPhone it is used only if you allow tracking when the system asks |
We never collect your bank card details. At payment you are handed to the payment provider's page, and the card stays with them.
Who we share it with
As little as possible, and only with:
- The tailor and driver assigned to your order — they see your first name, address and phone number, nothing more.
- Our SMS provider — your phone number only, to send the verification code.
- Our payment provider — the order amount and reference; card details go to them directly and never pass through us.
- Google — the app and its data are hosted on Firebase, and we use Google Analytics to understand usage.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat and Google — we send marketing events: that a sign-up or a purchase happened and its value in riyals, with a hashed identifier (your phone number put through one-way encryption) so it can be matched, and your device's advertising identifier where that is permitted. The purpose is to learn which advert actually brought customers. We never send your name, your address, your measurements or photos of your garments.
Your rights
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) you have the right to:
- Know what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct anything wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in the app.
- Delete your account and your data.
- Object to your data being used for marketing — email us and we exclude your account permanently.
- Complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

Deletion and retention
When you delete your account we immediately delete your profile, your measurements, your addresses, and the photos and voice notes you uploaded.
Order and invoice records are kept, because Saudi accounting and tax rules require it. Those records are not used for marketing and are not attached to an active account afterwards.
Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent may store a child's measurements within their own account.
Changes to this policy
If something material changes — such as a new company we share data with — we will update this page and ask for your consent again inside the app before it applies to you.
